Spend 7am with us before work! β° ποΈ π¨
Off to Frinton-on-Sea to hand paint a kitchen today. Before we started, Mum suggested a quick walk along the beach as we were so close to it, to get our steps in.
Truth be told, Iβd usually stay in the van and wait, but whenever we work together, mum always manages to push me out of my comfort zone. Iβm glad she did today the beach was beautiful, the sea was calm, and we practically had it all to ourselves. βοΈ β¨β€οΈ
Sometimes the best part of the day is taking a few minutes to slow down before it begins. π€

Life feels like itβs really sprung lately, everything just seems a little brighter and easier. π±
Dog walks come with that fresh breeze in the air. πΆ
Work starts and finishes in daylight. π―
Pushing into the evening on projects feels positive, not heavy. β¨
Even getting to the gym feels easier when itβs not dark and cold, and doesnβt take quite so much digging deep to show up. πͺπΌ
Summer is on its way, and thereβs so much to be grateful for. βοΈ
A little reminder that perspective can make all the difference. π

Watching this back, what stands out to me isnβt the room prep, itβs unknowingly how comfortable I look. Confident, relaxed, and fully in control of what Iβm doing. Thatβs a good feeling.
Thereβs something satisfying about turning up to site, knowing your craft, and genuinely enjoying the process.

We hand-paint kitchens most days, but this room makeover was too good not to share.
Even gave a cheeky voiceover a go and talked through some of the prep: removing old rawplugs, filling holes, protecting skirtings and getting everything ready for paint.
