Weβre in the final stages of this kitchen hand-paint, and before we could get started today, we had to stop the sun blasting through the glazing onto the surfaces. Yesterday we tried using dust sheets, but they were too heavy and didnβt last the whole day, so today we switched to bed sheets instead, which worked much better π
Top tip: keeping direct sunlight off the surface youβre painting stops it heating up too quickly and gives you more working time with your paint system. Plus, it makes the day a lot more comfortable when the sun isnβt beating down on you all day!
Only problemβ¦ I accidentally bought one wrong sheet π€¦ββοΈπ Back to the shop this evening to grab the right one ready for tomorrowβ¦ and itβs meant to be another scorcher! βοΈπ₯
